“Props to Lily, Philippe, Jim from Living Spinal, and the team for their post-sale support. They shipped a replacement part at no charge so I could make the repair I needed, and that meant a lot.
I also really enjoy this chair. On smooth surfaces like indoor tracks, Costco, Sam’s Club, and the mall, it moves quickly, handles well, and makes everyday outings much more enjoyable.
What stands out most is the sense of speed, freedom, and fun it brings to places where maneuverability really matters. It has held up impressively well through a full year of regular use.
For me, it performs especially well in everyday settings. It’s important to have realistic expectations about where it will shine, but for daily life on suitable surfaces, it has been an excellent fit.”

This is a fantastic chair
The Jackdrive 2.0
“I have two points of reference for comparison, a Grit Freedom Chair and an ordinary chair.
This chair is awesome for flat surfaces and is also able to handle slight hills and slight bumps in the road and sidewalk.
The reason this chair will get a lot more use than the Grit Freedom Chair is that it is so easy to maneuver in tight spaces, like elevators and on the light rail. When you drop the bars down, you are able to back up if needed. The Grit Freedom Chair is more durable and able to handle more off-road; however, it is huge and you can’t back up without removing the bars.
I did a lot of research, and I am keeping both the Freedom Chair and the Jackdrive, but if I could only have one, the Jackdrive would be my choice.”
