Phil DeMirza, an inventor with decades of mechanical experience, envisioned a better way to move through the world- one that mimicked the body’s natural power and honored each user’s resilience. That vision became Jackdrive: a high-performance, lever-drive wheelchair designed for people who expect more from their mobility.

Phil personally builds every Jackdrive wheelchair by hand and with heart. Each chair reflects his craftsmanship, attention to detail, and unwavering belief that mobility should never be a limitation.
Lily, his partner in life and business, serves as the visionary’s voice: an advisor, administrator, and the driving force behind Jackdrive’s outreach and community connection.
While we ourselves do not live with mobility challenges, we stand in deep respect for those who do. Jackdrive is our way of giving back, a product built with intention, love, and a commitment to creating real, tangible impact.
What Makes Jackdrive Different?
Jackdrive uses a patented lever-drive system that mirrors the motion of a bench press-a natural, full-range movement that engages the arms and chest more effectively than traditional push rims.
In a conventional wheelchair, users rely on push rims, which involve small, repetitive strokes that can strain the wrists and shoulders. Jackdrive’s lever propulsion offers a stronger, smoother, and more ergonomic ride-ideal for daily movement across indoor spaces, pathways, and accessible outdoor routes.
All Jackdrive wheelchairs come with detachable leg hangers for added flexibility and convenience.
